The Heartbeat of Manifestation
Listen to your heart beat. How many heartbeats do you get until this
manifestation is complete, this cycle is complete? The cycle of one
life. The cycle of this Earth is also made up of heartbeats.
Civilizations are heartbeats. Everything is always in constant
motion. Nothing is ever static. Permanence is simply a limiting
idea. Everything is going through cycles of life and death, beginning
and end. As a lifetime ends, it is the end of a heartbeat. When a
lifetime begins, it is the beginning of a heartbeat; thump, thump,
constantly moving through realities, heartbeats within heartbeats.
A mouse and an elephant have about the same number of heartbeats in
their lifetimes. The mouse's very rapid, the elephant's very slow.
There are cycles within cycles. Within the heartbeat is the
heartbeat. The heartbeats of a lifetime create another cycle. Within
a single heartbeat is a cycle.
The Universe is expanding and contracting back unto itself and that is
a heartbeat as well. Everything in manifest creation is repeatedly
created and destroyed. Thump, thump, thump, thump. This Earth has
gone through several heartbeats before, several cycles before. It has
completely collapsed, been destroyed and then recreated. The Universe
is created and then destroyed.
Source has created multiple levels of vibrations, multiple levels of
heartbeats and rhythms. The mouse, the elephant, the Earth, and the
Universe - their hearts beat different rhythms; different speeds and
cycles.
When one begins existing more from a place of Spirit, one sees these
heartbeats and rhythms are just the way the Universe flows. As Spirit,
we exist outside of that rhythm. We experience the rhythm, but we are
not part of the rhythm. We do not exist as the rhythm, but we
experience the rhythm through manifestation, through bodies, through
just being in the manifest Universe.
It is very easy to get caught up in believing that the manifest reality
is all there is. If you believe this, then watching things being
destroyed is very difficult. There is sadness in watching cycles end.
We are much better at celebrating birth or creation than we are at
celebrating destruction or death. We need to become neutral with the
beginning and the end of cycles, with birth and death. We need to
celebrate the end of a cycle just as we rejoice in its beginning.
On an individual level, we must be able to let parts of our reality
crumble away. The heartbeat ends with the understanding and faith that
something new is going to be created. Even if you cannot see where the
path is going, and you are afraid, the cycles will continue because the
Universe was created to flow. After destruction is creation. After
creation is destruction. So if we can let go of the pictures of how we
want life to be, and instead be ready to accept the next piece of the
journey, without judgment, then we can live in a state of harmony and
peace. We will no longer be limited by the analyzer and the tiny part
of ourselves that needs to grasp and hold onto manifest reality.
