Pictures

During the daily lives of our existence, our bodies work off of pictures.  Pictures are the body's programming.  When you were little and you learned how to ride a bike, your body held onto the picture of you being able to get on and pedal.  So as an adult, when you walk up to a bike, the old picture lights up and you literally see yourself in a picture riding a bike.  Your body  says, "I know how to do this".  There is an immediate sense of confidence, and you get on and you ride.  That is programming based on pictures.  This type of picture, which is neutral and clean, provides us with support, and in fact, we have millions of these pictures in our systems all the time.  We all have previous pictures or programming that relate to all of the activities we do in a body.

There are many different types of pictures.  The ones that do not present a problem are the ones based in love and validation and neutrality.  We also all have pain pictures and fear pictures we hold in our space.  It is these that limit our reality and do not serve us, and it is important to move such pictures out.  If you are taking a spelling test as a child and you spell some of the words wrong, the picture that could be created is that you do not know how to spell.  On another occasion when there is perhaps some pressure around spelling, this picture could light up and you will not be able to perform.  Perhaps you hold a picture saying you will never be able to have an intimate relationship that is healthy.  We pick up many of our pictures or programming from our parents.  We take it on and we live our lives with that programming until we become aware of the pictures.  This is why being aware of energy is so important.  It allows us to notice the pictures as they light up.  Instead of being controlled by them, we can acknowledge what they are, and then release the energy out of the picture.

Programming sits in your personal energy system and body space as a picture, an emotion, a colour and texture of energy - so when we are releasing energy, we can be aware of all of these aspects.  We can tune into what it feels like and what emotion that picture holds.  We look at what the picture is.  Perhaps you have a picture of yourself when you were four years old and your father was yelling at you.  You took it on as meaning you were not good enough and held onto that energy in your fourth chakra.  The fourth chakra has to do with affinity with self and others, and the energy sitting in there from a past time picture controls your present-time reality.  It is probably a dark energy, maybe black, the texture is hot, molten tar, the emotion is sadness, and the picture is the actual childhood experience.  That picture will sit in your space, and it will influence every relationship that you are ever in.  It will, moreover, influence everything you do because anytime anything comes up in relation to you being worthy, this picture will light up and will limit your reality.  You can become aware of the picture, the programming, and release it.  In so doing, you take another dramatic step in the healing process.

We all hold "pictures" in our energy space that program us to act and react in certain ways.  You will operate off of the pictures that you are holding onto.  The pictures will be related to different concepts.  It is often difficult to notice your own programming pictures because at any particular moment, that is your reality.  Perhaps someone says something to you and it lights up a picture in your space.  That picture is now right out in front of you.  You are looking at the world through that picture.  It colours everything you look at, as well as how the world looks at you.  If, for example, it is a victim picture, you will see the world as a victim, and the world will see you as a victim.  The Spiritual Warrior's intent is to become aware of the pictures, the programming, and release them to facilitate personal change and healing.

Everything within your personal space is your responsibility.  By the same reasoning, everything outside your personal space is ultimately not your responsibility.  When you shift the energy internally, the exterior shifts automatically.  You create your reality from the inside out.

As spiritual beings, we are here on the planet to do some work and to make some shifts.  Before we come into body, there is a real awareness of what we need to work through and understand this lifetime.  Through various different dynamics, often we forget.  One of the interesting things about beings who are ready to "wake up" is that they will often create situations in their life as children involving pain.  They do this as a trigger to remind themselves about the work they need to do.  For example, if one of the major pieces they wanted to learn is how to own their power, they may create a situation whereby they would lose their power dramatically as a reminder.  They might create an abusive situation to remind themselves what it is to have their power taken away, thus recalling their goal this lifetime is to learn about owning their power.

The painful situations are sort of like guarantees or fail-safes.  We create them in order to highlight a certain aspect of our growth we really want to achieve in this lifetime.  The experiences feed right into our spiritual journey in the sense that they serve as a reminder to wake up spiritually.  They make us tune in on a different level in order to make sure we focus on our spiritual journey and do the healing.  Remember, if everything was completely without pain, completely easy, there would be less of a push for us to start looking within, doing our healing, waking up spiritually.  Pain is often part of the journey, but as we do our healing and start to move toward brightness, creating more and more room for the being to be present, we begin to stop creating the pain in order  to “get the message”.  We can simply see what is, and make the personal shifts accordingly.

Through meditation it is of course possible to let go of the pain and invalidation we needed to get us on our spiritual path.  The being will do whatever it takes to get the body consciously on the spiritual path, to get a body-senior body, spiritually senior again (or maybe for the first time).  It is amazing the extremes to which some people must go in order to get the message that they have work and healing to do - a tragic accident or even a death.

Looking back to childhood, we can see the pain as a director, a compass setting, a way of remembering.  Most healers had significant trauma in their childhoods.  It was their creation to push themselves to get on the spiritual path so they would not turn out just living in a body-senior situation.  We can actually move towards becoming neutral enough to accept difficult situations, and even celebrate them.

Everyone has fears that manifest themselves as a kind of nagging energy their body holds onto.  It may be the fear of being poor on the street, or fear of being abused, or fear of losing your space on whatever level.  You have to be really honest with yourself, because often your biggest fears will be something you do not even want to acknowledge or look at because every time you do, your body feels terrible.  What are you afraid of?  Are you afraid of being invisible, afraid of not being special, afraid of neglect?  Fear is a body phenomenon, it is not of Spirit.  As Spirit, you can tune into your fear on a very basic level and begin to release it - you can start pulling the energy out of wherever you find it in your body.  You have to watch the body in this process because often your body will try to distract you when you are tuning into a core fear.  Your body is afraid.

Remember the way to heal it is to let it go.  Fear is controlling your reality on some level.  How has the fear limited your reality?  As you start to pull off the energy, you may also notice trauma that comes up from either a past life or your present one.  You need to get as clear a picture as possible of the energy: what it is, the colour, texture, emotional situation, origin.  Where does it come from?  You can hold a past time fear picture for lifetimes, and it can affect every lifetime.  You can decide whether you are going to heal that fear picture now or continue to be controlled by it.  The Spiritual Warrior is always seeking freedom and in order to create that freedom the limiting pictures need to be removed.
