Uluru

As I walked around the base of Uluru, the visual presence of this place was amazing.  This rock stuck out of the desert surrounded by red sand.  It had been raining hard, and the rock didn't look like a rock at all.  It looked like a big human muscle sitting in the desert.  Despite the tons of water rolling off Uluru, there were many spots around it that were bone dry.  This, of course, is a power spot of great magnitude. Being near the rock, one can feel it easily.  The energy here is about holding space, or holding manifestation.

At one place at the base of Uluru, there is a carved-out crescent shape in the rock.  This felt like the perfect spot for me to use to go deeper into the energy-set of this sacred site.  I leaned my back against Uluru and looked straight up the rock face.  At that moment the clouds had cleared and I was looking up into a brilliant blue sky.  Uluru felt cold and powerful on my back.

While still looking up I closed my eyes and the rest of the planet faded away.  Uluru was by itself with me, in space.  I was extremely aware of the stars all around, and the sense of time and manifestation, the sense of the eternal energy-flow which creates manifestation.  Uluru held energy from that original idea of manifesting a planet where beings could come, create bodies, live and experience manifest reality.  Uluru pulsed with that energy, the heartbeat of that energy, the heartbeat of that desire, that wish, that mock up, that creation.  I felt like I was looking at linear time, from outside of linear time.  I felt that Uluru was holding the concept of linear time on the planet from a place of true eternal energy.

I lowered my head and stepped one step forward away from Uluru and felt renewed.  I wanted to get farther back so I could look at Uluru in its entirety.  I moved a few kilometers back, and stood on a little hill of brilliant red Australian sand, looking at Uluru.  Then something quite amazing started to happen. With my eyes open, Uluru started to fade.  Uluru, the energy, the atmosphere, was playing an interesting little game. As I stood there, Uluru got fainter and fainter, and within a period of about a minute, it was completely gone.

One moment we have manifestation, the next, we don't.  As I stood there and held that thought, Uluru came into visibility a little more, just a faint, faint outline.  Then, a little more, a little more, increasingly powerful, more manifest, brighter and brighter, more and more orange, until it came fully into focus, fully into manifestation once again.  It was a wonderful sight.  The eternal is sometimes visible, sometimes not, but always present on an energy level.  Always present, always sacred.
