We are all loved, fundamentally, always. Our connection with Source is our connection with love. Love and Source are the same thing. Love is what holds the universe together. One of our core cultural beliefs is that in order to experience love we have to share it with another person or other people: we have to find a lover in order to touch into the energy that is around us all the time. We use the lover to access an existing energy, and we believe that if we do not have a loved one then we cannot have love. This is simply not the case. You can live within the state of love all the time. In fact you are love - it is what you are made of on a core level. You do not need to try and get that from another because, ultimately, it will not work. The most "whole" relationships exist between two people who access their love independently and share that together. They do not believe they need the other to have love.
Imagine the feeling you have when you are in a relationship, which involves a lot of loving energy. Imagine having that feeling all the time, whether you are in a loving relationship with another person or not. You have to be your own lover, in love with Source, your higher self. Ask yourself, at any given moment, "Am I in love? Am I in love right now?" If not, turn it on and start loving the sky and the trees and whatever is going on around you. It is possible to be in love all the time. In fact, it is your nature. It is just the programming that limits love, saying you can only have love sometimes, and you need somebody else to have it.
Source created the universe from a place of free will, so you can choose to live in love all the time or to live outside of love. It is not based on external factors. Allow yourself to have it. You have to be your own lover, and be in love with yourself, with Source. All love stories, love poems, love songs are, on a fundamental level, talking about the love between you and Source. Always.
Source is present. You are present. You are one and the same. Everything is love and everything is Source. Love is present all the time. It is possible to be in love with everybody all the time. Basically, you start relating to things on a core energetic level, which is love. You must consciously choose to live in a state of love, because Source created the universe from a place of free will, you can live in love or not, it is your choice.
