Creating Your Reality

Everything that happens in your life is your creation, consciously or unconsciously.  It is essential to look for the messages in everything you create.  Even the most minor event (e.g. running into someone and having a chat) will provide you with some information and support more growth if you are aware.  There are no coincidences.  Everything has meaning.  You just need to be open to the learning inherent in the experience.  If you are aware of the messages in the events that you create, and are able to find the learning in them, you will move down your spiritual path with much greater ease.  Always look for the learning in every part of your life.

There are four major ways that we create: consciously as Spirit, unconsciously as Spirit, through others, and in a state of resistance.  It is easy to recognize when a conscious visualization is manifest, but there are also those times when something happens and you question:  "Where did that come from?  I had no idea that was going to happen."  You the spiritual being knew what was in store, in fact created it, but creating the event was not in your consciousness.  Most often, these are the experiences that provide for the most learning.  The sooner you take responsibility for your creations, the sooner you can start creating your reality consciously.  Remember, the more conscious you are, the more clear you are.

You may, at times, try to create through others.  You might, for example, want something from someone else and visualize it taking place with that person.  You are most likely starting to create in that person’s life without their permission.  When you're creating consciously as Spirit, to keep it neutral, one of the rules is that you don’t create in another person’s space.  This comes from the desire to create cleanly, without creating unwanted contracts, contracts that you would need to deal with later.  So you would not say, "I want Bob to love me.”  This is the act of creating in Bob’s personal space.  You could suggest, however, "I would like more love in my life" because that has to do with you, now Bob has a choice.

Creating from a place of resistance is another possibility.  You will attract to yourself whatever you least want.  You will find that if you are in resistance to something, it will continually show up in your life.  Resistance is a powerful way to create but you are creating what you are in resistance to, not what you want.  The more in
resistance you are to something, the more it is present in your life.

There are four steps in creating consciously or "mocking up”.  First, we begin with "visualization".  It is essential to be absolutely clear with this first step.  Get a detailed picture of what you want to manifest out in front of you.  Remember, if someone is going to work from your "diagram" or "instructions", what you want has to be absolutely obvious.  That is why they always say, "the first step in creating what you want is knowing what you want."  The next step in creating consciously is to remove any limitations that would prevent you from "having" what you want, any programming, thoughts or feelings that say “no” to your creation, just let them go.

We work to create as Spirit from a place of ease and highest integrity.  This step involves being in alignment with Source.  At any moment in time, you have the ability to make an unlimited number of choices, one of which is the most appropriate for you, and the greater whole.  You can create things not in your highest integrity that might seriously damage you and other people.  People do it all the time.  If we create something not of the highest integrity we will most likely be creating situations that will need to be cleaned up later before we can be completely free.  This creates a detour on the path to spiritual freedom.  The phrase we use is "I would like this to be manifest if it is my highest integrity and the highest integrity for all".

Finally, we must let go and trust the outcome.  This step involves applying the spiritual tool of non-attachment. "This is my goal spiritually, but it is okay if it doesn't happen.  I am not attached to it.  I will stay with my process, but I'm not attached to the outcome."

Imagination is a very real and powerful tool.  If you can imagine something, then it may be possible for you to create it.  Simply notice how much limitation energy is around it.  What do you need to let go of in order for it to manifest?  Remember anything is possible.  Imagination is just simply a visualization tool.  What you are doing is creating a possible reality for yourself.  If you can visualize it, it is within the realm of possibility and you may be able to create it.  If something is outside of your ability to even imagine, if it is beyond your ability to visualize, you will not be able to create it.  You need to get to the point where you can visualize it, in order to start the conscious creation process.

Many people are living in a state of limitation; can they imagine?  Can they visualize themselves having more abundance?  Some can, some can't.  For the ones who can, it becomes a possibility.  For the ones who can't, it will remain impossible.  Imagination/visualization is that powerful.
