Sitting, Standing, Lying, Walking
You can, at any time, tune into your personal space and get a sense of your present spiritual condition. You may notice there are places that stand out, or parts of your aura are missing. Then, you can simply choose to shift whatever is in your space, and clean things up. Ease is the key. You can wash foreign energy away with the blink of an eye. It is your space, 100% yours, and the only being in the universe that has the right to be in that space is you.
As you clear your space, a manageable size for your aura is an arm's length out, from above the head, right beneath your feet, both front, back, on either side, and all the way around. It is like a clear bubble, or an egg-shaped balloon. It defines the edges of your personal space. It is clearly grounded, running with gold energy.
There are many different physical forms for meditation. The meditation of the student and the teacher is, generally, the "sitting meditation". It is, however, both possible and desirable to take your meditation space out into your life so you can have it in other situations. The warrior's meditation, takes a standing pose. There is a different quality to this form. You can have this anytime, no matter where you are. Owning your space and having your level of awareness does not only occur in your inward meditation time. That place is sacred and needs to be there every day. Also whenever you are in other situations, you can simply tune into the warrior's form of meditation. The warrior is out of resistance, neutral, and at ease with power.
Meditation in a lying down position is another option to explore. Lie down on your back completely flat, arms to the side, legs extended. Your grounding cord will run a little bit differently in this position. It still connects to your body from the same place, but it has a curve to it as it goes down to the centre of the planet. This is often called the "healer's meditation". You can have the same level of awareness no matter what is going on with your body, no matter what position you are in. When you sleep at night, you are usually lying down, so it is a good idea to practice owning your space, and staying conscious in this position.
When you do choose to go to sleep, it is important to ensure that your space is still owned by you. If you do not own it, you tend to wake up with aches and pains from the invasion of foreign energy. When you leave the body unprotected, it is like leaving your house with all the doors and windows open. You are virtually saying, "Come on in" to anything that is hanging around. Your body is yours to own, even in sleep. When you have the intention to care for your physical body while it is asleep, it changes your experience of how it feels to return to your physical body in the morning. It is clearer, and you do not have to spend a large amount of time getting your space back.
The ultimate goal is to take meditation out into your life. It is too easy to say, "Here is my meditation class, here is my meditation space, and those are the two places where I own my space. Everywhere else, it is a free-for-all." You do not always have to be in a full state of heightened awareness, but you can consistently own your space no matter what you are doing. There will be times when you tend to lose your space more than others, at a party, working or places where you are more vulnerable. The more you lose your space, the harder it is to get it back. One of the benefits of meditating is you can shift energy much quicker, and get your space back faster. It is, of course, simpler not to lose your space in the first place.
Walking meditation is another form to practice. This is the meditation of the "visionary", and is related to accessing pieces of information. During walking meditation, you can often find answers to questions you put out to the universe. Along the walk, if you stay aware in present time, something will trigger some answers. If you see things going on, do not draw your focus out of your space, stay inward, and stay grounded. The key is not to be actively looking. You need to let go, and just notice what turns up along the way, allowing your awareness to go to whatever seems significant on the journey. Everything you tune into has a piece of spiritual information for you, if you use your clairvoyance, not your analyzer. Always question; how can you use the events you create as a way of healing and cultivating greater awareness? Remember, there is no such thing as an insignificant event. There is no such thing as an accident. Everything on your journey is clearly there for a reason. The only challenge you have is tuning into what the reason is.
This is not a world of random events where most things are meaningless. This is a world of complete meaning and synchronicity, always. Every step you take has significance. There is no chance. There are no accidents. It isn't an accident it was sunny today. Do not hold any preconceptions of what your journey is supposed to be, or invalidation for what the journey has been. Every journey is valid, and every journey is exactly appropriate.
