Every dichotomy has two extremes, and if you are "on a dichotomy", you will be struggling back and forth between the two ends of the scale. Dichotomies can limit you to a great degree. One of your goals, as a Spiritual Warrior, is to shift off of whatever dichotomies you are on. You can just simply be, creating whatever you want, not needing to be at either end of the dynamic.
There are many dichotomies you may operate from in your life. The rich/poor dichotomy is one example. You believe you never have enough, no matter the number in your bank account. If you are on a dichotomy, whether you are at one end or the other, you will continually be engaged in it. Within the rich/poor dichotomy if you are on the poor side of the dichotomy, you are always concerned about money, and if you are on the rich side you are always concerned about money. Many millionaires are in a state of scarcity or survival, even when they have millions of dollars in the bank. Often they do create the reality they fear and lose their money but then they make a lot back again. They continue bumping back and forth.
If you get off of that dichotomy, how much you have is no longer an issue because you are simply on your spiritual path doing the work you are here to do. There is complete wholeness with or without money. You will not be in a state of poor or rich. You will just be in the state of creating what you want, whenever you want it. Money is no longer an issue. You just do not think about it, and you do not spend your life trying to chase or create it. What you want and need is simply just there. People who are truly in their dharma, following their life path, their purpose, are off of that dichotomy. Money is not an issue. They do what they love.
Special/worthless is another popular dichotomy. It is a particularly fascinating example because even when you are feeling special, you still hold onto a core belief that you are worthless. In fact, it is the individuals who really need to feel special who ultimately feel worthless on a core level. They are on a dichotomy, sliding back and forth. Many famous people are fine examples. They receive attention and glamour, and then they go home at night and feel suicidal. Off of that dichotomy, you are not worthless, you are not special, you simply are. You do not have to be either one.
As Spiritual Warriors, we are walking our path in order to get our learnings on the planet. There are no special or worthless paths, nor any that are right or wrong. Every path is a valid path. The journey is so much easier if we can stay on our path and stay off of the dichotomies that imbalance us and cause us to swerve from side to side. The more aware you are spiritually, the more obvious your path. You have unlimited choices but the one that is your path will shine bright gold. All the others will fade away the clearer you become. You will see your direction.
Ultimately, everything that is not your energy can be left outside of your space. You are not responsible for the people in your life. Often in our relationships with others, we try to control and own them, supposedly in their best interest, of course, "for their own good". We love them, and so we must own them. It is important to let them be free. They are independent beings on this planet that will create whatever they create, whether you like it or not. They are on their own unique healing journey, just as you are, and no two journeys are the same. You may find yourself wondering, at times, why someone would be so stuck on a certain dichotomy. That is the dichotomy that he/she needs to transcend to get a certain learning. And remember that you are working on transcending your own dichotomies as well.
In order to be neutral with everyone else's creations, you have to be off of dichotomies and out of judgment. You can live outside of judgment, outside of dichotomy, even if the world does not. Remember, the Spiritual Warrior does not judge even if the analyzer/mind does. The closer you move toward a state of harmony with Spirit, the closer you come to a state of non-judgment.
The Spiritual Warrior is always looking within to find that which is not in its highest integrity and slay it. When you judge something or someone, you create a dichotomy, something is either right or wrong, good or bad. When you transcend dichotomies, you are no longer looking at something as good or bad, you are outside of that. Dichotomies may be so much a part of your life that it can be hard to imagine what it would be like to live without them. We all operate off of many different dichotomies, maybe you believe that people with a lot of money are special, and people with no money are worthless. Spirit is not invested one way or the other, all the being cares about is getting the learning. We live on a "dichotomy planet". Dichotomies are all around us, all the time, because that is one of the lessons of this Earth/the school of manifestation. This place was created with dichotomies intact in order for us to experience and transcend them. One of the most dramatic aspects of the spiritual journey is getting out of judgment, getting off the dichotomies and finding neutrality.
