Titles

As a Spiritual Warrior on your path, you are working toward owning your spiritual authority more and more.  In many practices, individuals support their authority with a title, be it rabbi, minister, priest, or shaman.  The body becomes attached to titles easily.  You need to be able to have your level of authority without holding on to a title.  Titles can be fun and help clarify responsibilities, as long as you don’t take them on as body identity programming.  Remember the title is not who you are, it is simply what you are doing at this time.

There are really only two types of spiritual work: the people who are doing their work from a place of integrity and Source and the people who are not.  The latter are working from a place of programming.  The quickest way to confuse someone on their path is to give them a piece of spiritual truth with a lie in it.  The lie will come from the person’s unhealed wounds/programming.  There are many practices that do just that.  Often, the teachers who are doing this are not even aware of it.  They do the work from their body programming or their wounds, and they end up owning their students.  It is, of course, the students' creation to be in this situation.  They are learning what it is to be owned and what it is to lose their space.  This dynamic has been going on forever.  The Spiritual Warrior knows how to steer clear of this pitfall, and truly understands autonomy, knowing that all healing is self-healing - this relies on the connection to Source.  Everyone has the right to have a direct connection to Source.  There is no "middleman" required.

Over time, different practices experience different levels of judgment.  In Western culture, the Buddhists have, for example, a very good reputation at present, and the Catholics are not well thought of in many circles.  There is an ebb and flow and will change with the times.  Every practice can be undertaken, however, from a place of integrity, or not.  Also, every practice is constantly splintering out and forming new versions of itself which ultimately is healthy and is the evolution of consciousness, as long as the new versions of the practice are working from a place of integrity and alignment with Source.  The new organization simply  becomes a new flavour, a new spiritual practice.  There are often many titles within Energetic Houses, remember you do not get your spiritual authority from a title.  Truly having your spiritual authority is an internal process.  You do not need a title or for someone to ordain you.  You own it for yourself.  Ultimately it needs to come from you and Source, for you and Source are one and the same.
