Every being, in-body and out-of-body, in this reality has an "Energetic House". Their Energetic House is a bubble of energy, or an energy field, within which reality exists for them. Inside their energetic house resides their whole belief system: what they believe, what they think and how they are in the world. Most people are part of an Energetic House on an unconscious level. They either took it on, had it forced upon them, or they unconsciously signed a contract to be a member. They did not consciously choose the Energetic House. Individuals may have other influences in their lives, but the Energetic House is their core belief system. Within their Energetic House, there will be others who have the same core beliefs.
We can look at the universe and everybody who is currently in manifestation as simply energy, everything is energy, everything is Spirit, and everything is Source. If we perceive reality from this place, then an individual's Energetic House would also be considered his or her spiritual practice. We use the term "Energetic House" because many people who have these belief systems are inside a reality we would not readily look upon as spiritual. However, on a core level, it is. It affects how they are spiritually in the world.
For example, there is a capitalist Energetic House. If capitalism is your Energetic House, the principles of capitalism form your basic beliefs. Your truth is that capital goods or money, on a core level, are the most important thing. If capitalism is your Energetic House or spiritual house or religion even, one of the rituals that you have is to spend money. So going shopping at the mall is a spiritual experience for somebody whose Energetic House is capitalism. It is a ritual that reaffirms their commitment to their Energetic House. With this particular Energetic House, the belief is that the more you accumulate, be it money or objects, the more advanced you become and the more powerful and valid you are. Accumulating wealth is the point, and it is the premise for success. Recognize that it is possible to live within a capitalist culture but not have capitalism as your Energetic House.
There are many different types of energetic or spiritual houses. Some people may belong to the Energetic House of Catholicism, Zen Buddhism, Islam, Vipassana, Toltec or others. These are organizations that are recognized as spiritual practices, we can also call them Energetic Houses. If you are a fan of a particular musical group and what that band is putting out becomes your core beliefs, then it is possible for you to live within their Energetic House. A sport such as hockey can be an Energetic House, as can any other activity as long as you believe in it and live the principles of it deeply enough.
In many cases, the family and their reality is the Energetic House. You could be in the Energetic House of your partner and his or her family, and that is often part of the contract of the relationship. One person sets the tone and energy, and the partner lives within that energy set. Often when couples get married, part of the unconscious marriage contract states that one spouse will join the other's Energetic House.
With every Energetic House there is a contract. Usually these contracts are subconscious and people are unaware that they signed them, but they do exist. All the rules of living in that Energetic House are within that contract. Some of the questions that we have to ask are: "What are the terms of the contract? Does this contract support me to become more spiritually free, or does this contract limit me spiritually?" We do not want to judge whether being part of a certain Energetic House is a positive or a negative thing, but it is essential to make your commitments consciously, to look right at all the aspects, and choose the Energetic House you want to live in.
If you want to grow spiritually and facilitate your freedom, choose to be part of an Energetic House that is in support of your growth, because many of them are not. Some Energetic Houses will limit your energy from vibrating at higher frequencies and prevent greater levels of freedom. This happens within quite a few Energetic Houses, so you need to make a decision based on the question: "Is this Energetic House where I want to reside, or do I want to touch energy frequencies or vibrations that are higher?"
There are some people who never really make a commitment to one Energetic House. They move from one to another. This, of course, is a valid path or reality. When in an Energetic House, these people become fully part of that reality and then, after a certain length of time, leave and go onto another. This is essentially making a commitment and then continually breaking the commitment from one House to the next. Be aware if this is what you are doing, and make a clear choice whether this is the path that works best for you.
You can be committed to an Energetic House and visit other Energetic Houses. This is different then leaving one Energetic House and joining another, you are simply visiting a different Energetic House then your own. It is very much like Buddhists visiting a mosque. They visit that mosque, respecting that Energetic House, but they are still Buddhist, committed to their own Energetic House.
The idea of visiting other Energetic Houses is encouraged because we need to get to a place on the planet where we are neutral with everybody else's Energetic House. When someone says one Energetic House is the only one to choose, we run into problems because that Energetic House is not going to be appropriate for everybody. If people try to force others into that reality, then it can become violent quite quickly and keep the consciousness level very low on the planet.
Consider the analogy of cultures on the planet living together, the idea that there can be multiple cultures on the planet all living together as a global community and making decisions as one while continuing to honour individual cultures. This only succeeds if you can validate other cultures. If you believe that your culture is right and is the only one that is valid, then it is very difficult to live in a global community. This is a limited consciousness, and it is what keeps the planet in a state of battle.
The idea that one is right and one is wrong is obviously based in judgment. In practicing non-judgment, we can say, "My Energetic House is a way, and yours is another way. They are both valid but different."
Some Energetic House contracts are quite forceful. Part of the contract may read that once you join this Energetic House you are not allowed to leave. People trying to leave those Energetic Houses have to fight quite hard and dramatically to get out of them. Often for a while they may be pulled back in. The House they have become part of, or perhaps have been a part of for several lifetimes, is very comfortable. It is familiar. It is known. There are many people within that Energetic House they are close to. All of this is valid. However, for some people a time will come when that Energetic House is no longer suitable; they are ready to move onto something else, and that is when the battle may begin. The level of struggle that individuals experience to free themselves from an Energetic House depends on how much they own their own power. The more you own your personal power, the easier it is to make the shift.
When people are in an Energetic House, they believe, think and see the world in a certain way. If they were in a different Energetic House their whole way of seeing and being would be different. It is fascinating to watch people go in and out of different Energetic Houses because one moment they think or perceive reality one way, and the next moment they perceive reality completely differently depending on which House they are in.
Some Energetic Houses have a direct connection to Source and are constantly channeling in clear Source energy. Some Energetic Houses are completely disconnected from Source. If it is disconnected from Source, the Energetic House will be moving around and looking for energy from other places. That Energetic House phenomenon is constantly trying to get more people involved so it can utilize their energy. Part of the contract of belonging to that type of Energetic House is that people will give up their personal space. On a very simple level, people residing within those Energetic Houses do not have any definition around them. Their aura and their space are not defined and they have severed their connection with Source. Their power is not defined personally, because the Energetic House owns them. One can call this type of Energetic House a group mind.
This is very different from an Energetic House where the contract is for the person inside to receive support to become free and for the individual to own their personal space completely. There are many such supportive Energetic Houses. People use these Energetic Houses for their own healing because these Energetic House contracts are about freedom, free will and healing. The Energetic House and everybody in it creates support for each individual to heal, change and grow.
The awareness of what your reality is on an Energetic House level, what your commitments are as Spirit in a body, is essential for the ultimate evolution to a state of spiritual lightness. Choosing an Energetic House consciously is the key. So ask yourself, “What is my Energetic House? Does it support my healing journey to a state of spiritual freedom?”
