I had come to realize that I had spent a number of past lives in the Kakadu area as a Gagudju. I was drawn on a power journey back to the Gagudju land, in Kakadu National Park, northern Australia, and specifically to Nourlangie Rock. It was the time of the lightning man in Kakadu, so there were isolated lightning storms thundering through the sky, often opening up and pouring down pelts of water, monsoon-level storms.
The day I approached Nourlangie Rock, the clouds had parted, and it was blue sky right above where I was. As I walked towards the rock, I felt the power of the place. The Gagudju people have been painting, doing rock art, for 35-40,000 years here, and there was, on an energy level, no surprise as to why they would choose this spot. It was truly a power spot.
The energy was pouring out of the earth, on a main line, connecting to little lines. It was obvious that this was a point of tremendous power on the planet. The rock itself is ancient and looks so. These are some of the oldest rocks on the planet, and they have this incredible, gnarled beauty to them.
I found a power spot of energy, sat down, closed my eyes and started to take a look around on an energy level. After defining and owning my energy system, making sure I was clear and protected, I turned my attention to the beings of that place. The first being I was aware of was a representative of the Gagudju people, who looked after initial contact when beings came to connect on this level. This being gave me some general greetings, just informing me of the basic rules of the place. It was simply reminding me to be respectful, which of course I was. It then moved off.
I was taken back a little bit when I then tuned to the beings who truly looked after and supported that place. There were three of them, and they were the size of the rock faces. They were sitting inside the rock itself. These beings were ancient and of incredible power. Their job from the beginning of manifestation was to look after this site and to keep the energy flow going, to have it available to any being of consciousness that came to be replenished. My communication with these beings was fairly short and very direct. I asked them if I could have a communication space. It was granted, and it was profoundly clear that this place was for any being of light. It was not only a Gagudju power spot. It was a power spot designed for every being on the planet with or without a body who wanted to use it to touch into the energy and get a healing.
Beings of consciousness of all kinds have come to this place and used this energy. The Gagudju have been living here and using the energy for thousands of years. It was clear to the guardians of that power spot, however, that beings had been using it long before the arrival of the Gagudju, and that beings would continue to use it after they were gone. The site is a power spot for all and is still tremendously active.
The power poured out of the earth here, going straight up into the cosmos at a rate which was truly phenomenal. I touched into the energy, ran my energy with it, and received a healing. The level of power that I received was incredible. Feeling the energy spill out of the earth there, I went into my astral body and tracked the energy. I watched it as it went directly out into space, a direct line, all the way out to the edge of the manifest universe. Then it came right back through that line of energy, going straight in, entering the earth right at Nourlangie Rock, and going right to the center of the planet. There were beings all around it, looking after it, protecting it, keeping it flowing.
There are many of these hot spots, or power spots, all around the planet. This one was a wonderful place to visit. On many of the other power sites, different spiritual practices create physical forms, be it temples, cathedrals or stone circles to facilitate the respectful worship of the place. In Kakadu, the Gagudju people did not build anything, per se, but they did paint beautiful murals on the walls to touch into the energy and power of the place. I left feeling wonderful, humbled and in awe of this beautiful manifestation and power.
A little way down the path there was a rock shape formation, at about a 45 degree angle, onto which I climbed. As I did so, the lightning man struck, opened the clouds, and it poured with rain. It was a little blessing, a cleansing for me, to mark the occasion of my visit. The water poured down the rock in streams like little rivers. It rained so hard that in an instant I was drenched to the skin. I looked to the sky and thanked the place and continued on my journey.
