Lightwork song of the month: click here to play
Ambling through Green

The song Ambling through Green was inspired by an early morning walk through the English countryside near Gloucestershire.  Over stone walls and down ancient paths these fields and commons have been nurtured by the British people for centuries.  Scott ambled with many previous lifetimes revealing themselves clearly to his clairvoyance.  Scott was moved by the familiarity, grace and continuity of this land.  Sitting down under an ancient oak, he penned the lyrics to this song.  Later back in Vancouver he wrote the basic cord structure.  A few months later with assistance from many musician friends it was laid down on tape.

Ambling through Green

A solitary figure in the new morning's chill
The fires of past life are with me still

Textured by age blurred by mind
Like a caress familiar, subtle and kind

Between the ripples flow forgotten days
Memories turn to vapour by the spring sun's rays

Floating in air they obscure the sky
Their reflections fade with the young hour’s sigh

Monuments to the years are the structures of stone
Season upon season they stand pale and alone

Ambling through green in this comfort place
Unchanging time is this landscape's grace

A dedicated crew is working most Sundays at the Ecovillage preparing the building materials and site for the Lightwork Cob Worshop, Aug. 20 - Sept. 4 at the Ecovillage.  If you would like more details on this workshop let us know.  We are digging the foundation trenches, gathering rock, stripping and cutting up wood.  Part of the garden has been planted and some of the weeds picked.  This is the time of year where the Ecovillage greets us with a sea of purple fox glove.  Spring has definately sprung at the Ecovillage.

It is that Simple

Blue envelopes me
Gold saturates my existence
The endless, timeless sea
Reaches out and cradles me in its nurturing wash
Time is just an idea
I play in it like a child
Creating realities in the sand on a beach
That's all there is
It is that simple

You are a spiritual being,
having a human experience.

We are all eternal spiritual beings in human bodies.  We manifest human bodies to experience manifestation, this world, this planet that we live on.  Our human bodies are an interface unit between the spiritual being that lives outside of time and space and the manifest realm or linear time.

We create human bodies to experience time and space, to experience linear time.  Walking around in a human body is an amazing thing.  Having the senses of smell, touch, taste, visual sight and perceiving sound is a beautiful experience.

There is much to be learned while having the human experience.  It is important to remember though that manifestation, the concept of manifestation, is just one small part of the universe.  Linear time is one of many possible realities.

You have probably had the sensation of experiencing yourself as Spirit in many ways.  Perhaps it was as simple as experiencing being outside of time or feeling timeless.  Perhaps when you are waking up in the morning, you have that moment, that experience of having to remember where you are, what your name is, what your life is like, what the current role you are playing on planet Earth is.  These are little moments when you are touching into being outside of linear time.

Human bodies are always in linear time -  that is what they do.  So as Spirit we come into human bodies to experience that.  What a joy it is.  The emotions are another aspect of the human experience that we come to explore.  We only run into problems when we forget we are Spirit first and the human experience is just one of the many experiences we will have on our spiritual journey.
