Lightwork Spiritual Development continues to grow and become an even clearer and more powerful path. It is an exhilarating step by step process. There have been numerous upgrades and evolution in many areas. Not the least of which is realizing that the time is right to start having our annual Summer Retreat at the Lightwork Ecovillage. This decision feels so good and is another step toward eventually establishing the Lightwork Ecovillage as Lightwork Spiritual Development’s permanent home. We will always have classes in the city but eventually Lightwork’s headquarters will be located on the sacred earth of the Lightwork Ecovillage. Blessings to all who walk the Lightwork path, an awesome creation.
Lightwork Productions - the creative wing of Lightwork, produces materials to support you on your spiritual journey. Lightwork Productions has been working behind the scenes on the website. The website is constantly evolving to become more user-friendly and interactive, with videos, music and photographs. The website is designed to give you a spiritual yes. The Lightwork Band has been active with recording, working on elements of a live production and shooting a new music video. All designed to say yes to spirit in a fun and very accessible format.
This is the world premiere of The Lightwork Band’s brand new version of their song What Could Be and they are very excited. The Lightwork Band has gone through many changes over the past few months with their beloved Susan Summers stepping back to have more time to pursue other projects and Keith Grennan not being part of the recording or performing process. Even though he has stepped back in those capacities he is still very much supporting the band. So the new version of the band is Scott Robinson, Krista Morrison and Julia Thiessen. The release of What Could Be is this line up’s first offering. The Band has a pop-ier more danceable sound these days with dance routines being choreographed simultaneously with the music being written and recorded – very fun! What Could Be has had a bit of a history already. This song was originally written by Scott Robinson, Susan Summers and Frank Henning on a sunny summer afternoon sitting in the backyard. Scott was happy to use the uplifting lyrics that he had written waiting for the right music to be created. Scott’s intention with the lyrics is to put out a positive blessing and wish for the planet, a vision of peace and love. He feels it is so important to focus on the light especially during the challenges at hand on our beautiful Earth. When the band reformed, November 2006, the new line up began to re-write all of the songs and What Could Be was first in line. They re-wrote, re-arranged and recorded this song from scratch. Through this process What Could Be turned out quite different from the way it was originally written and they are very happy with the outcome. It is difficult to be in a bad mood when listening to this song. Hope you enjoy it. A music video for What Could Be is in production as we speak.

Lightwork Ecovillage
The most exciting news from the Lightwork Ecovillage is the booking of Lightwork Spiritual Development’s Summer Retreat (July 29 - Aug. 5). Last summer the Lightwork Ecovillage hosted the first Cob Workshop as well as the 1st Annual Lightwork Ecovillage Music Festival both satisfying and successful. This summer we are taking it all to a much higher level. The Lightwork Summer Retreat is defined by a high energy set with many earthly delights. So the Ecovillage crews are actively creating an upgrade in the facilities to host this beautiful retreat. We will be at it full on from now until July 29, the first day of the retreat; all very exciting. There are also 2 Cob Workshops (July 21 - 28 & Aug. 18 - 25) booked for this summer and of course the 2nd Annual Lightwork Ecovillage Music Festival, Aug. 5. There are lots of opportunities to lend a hand through this process so if the spirit moves you come on out to the Ecovillage some weekends and join in on the fun.

Everything in the universe is energy. It is neither created or destroyed, it just changes form. You are ultimately a spiritual being with unlimited creative power. The universe is your playground. It is just a matter of understanding and letting go of the invalidation that keeps you creating a limited reality. Anything you imagine can be created. If you can visualize it you can create it. Remember, anything that you put out into the universe you receive back. So if you want to live in a state of freedom, you freely put out into the universe energy that is in the highest integrity for yourself and the highest integrity for all, doing this free of expectation. This energy, when it comes back to you, requires no healing. There is no debt, no incomplete contract, there is nothing to be paid back, it is simply freedom and flow. So when you ultimately understand that you are an incredibly powerful being and you can create anything, you also understand how you create and what you create is important. The only limits that exist are the limits that we put on things. The reality is anything is possible.
