Lightwork Productions puts out awesome creative projects which support the spiritual journey.  Lightwork Productions is currently working on audio recordings of the band, video editing for the next music video, and the evolution of the website.  Working with new technologies is a big part of Lightwork Productions.  The production team can often be seen wielding new software, all with the intent to create more ease.  Yes to that.  The Lightwork Band is getting into a sweet groove with the process of creating music; from conceiving the music to post production.  Experiencing creative expression from a spiritual place is a powerful healing for both the band and its audience.  A new element to our web presence is being built as we speak, this is a separate website that works in conjunction with the main site with a specific intent, to offer Lightwork basic classes as a full internet experience.  Advanced website design in combination with video and other technologies will allow the web savvy person to receive the awesome benefits of Lightwork meditation all through their computer.  Estimate launch, Fall 2007.

Neutrality

Neutrality comes from a state of clear and clean energy flow.  When you are truly neutral, there is no right or wrong or good or bad.  You are not making a judgment on any level.  Neutrality has no positive or negative charge.  If someone says something neutrally he/she is simply stating what is, without any energetic charge attached to the statement.  People will unconsciously (and sometimes consciously) throw energy, as judgment, at others.  Energy thrown at you is an opportunity to play with the power of being spiritually senior, the state outside of resistance and judgment.  When someone is throwing energy, you can stay neutral, stay out of resistance, let the energy pass through and maintain your space, more often than not, you will be able to take the charge off the situation.  It is amazing how powerful neutrality is.

Neutrality must, however, go hand in hand with awareness.  As your awareness grows it is important for your neutrality to grow at an equal rate.  When you are aware of a person who is in distress, perhaps someone living in a victim reality, it is advantageous to see what truly is.  This person is not wrong for running that energy.  It is simply what is going on for him or her.  This is an opportunity for the Spiritual Warrior to practice neutrality in relationship to someone who has lost their space because of a personal wound; in this case creating the victim reality.  The Spiritual Warrior's first priority is to stay neutral and own his/her personal space.  If appropriate, it may be an opportunity for the Spiritual Warrior to assist the other to a higher energy frequency, a more peaceful state, by using his/her spiritual practice.

There is a critical difference between empathy and sympathy.  When you go into sympathy and take on responsibility for someone, it is possible you may match their energy level, get drained and lose your space.  Your energy bubble or personal space becomes undefined as you give your energy away.  People in need will generally take as much as they can get.  If a being does not know how to access energy cleanly, they will try to get it from others.  That is largely what the victim game is about.  Often people playing this game will push for you to lose your space, to give your space away to them.  This does not serve them or yourself.

It is often easier to hold your own space with strangers than with family members and people you know.  It is essential to stay neutral with the ones closest to you because they are the trickiest people to stay clear with.  These are the spirits with whom you have the most karmic connections.  Staying neutral with the people closest to you is excellent daily practice for the Spiritual Warrior.

The opportunity in any situation that challenges you on an energy level, is to stay neutral and get the learning; to stay aware of what is going on and to work on taking the charge off what is happening.  It is so important to pay attention when you start judging others because that is when your own issues have been triggered.  Most of the time when you react or strike back it is because you have taken something personally, it has hit an issue that needs healing.  As a Spiritual Warrior, you need to notice when core issues are being triggered/lit up in your space and avoid going into resistance or fight.  This is great training for staying neutral.  Notice whether you have taken offense?  Are you hurt?  Did you take something personally?  Is your reaction because you felt like the person wasn't respecting you?  Then, ask your higher self, your Source, what is the most appropriate action to take?  When you are dealing with a difficult situation with someone by validating the person as Spirit rather than invalidating what they are saying or doing, this will likely take the charge off the whole dynamic.

By giving another their space and remaining neutral, you honour and take advantage of the healing opportunity for both parties.  Part of why another person is in your presence is for both of you to receive a healing.  The art is being able to see what the healing opportunity is and then being able to receive it.  Look at how often you are in the role of helping out another as you heal yourself.

It is important to name "what is" neutrally.  What is the issue and can you name it clearly without getting your own issues involved?  If you add them to the mix, everyone goes into resistance and the situation quickly becomes a mess, and it is much harder to receive the healing from the event.  You will run into problems when you get your own personal concerns involved with the dynamics at hand.  Instead, you can stay neutral and use the situation to heal yourself.  That is why we create people with the same issues as ourselves in our life, to mirror for us and to light up in us what needs to be worked through, until we reach a place of neutrality with it.

Sometimes people push too hard while trying to own their space.  It is almost like an attack.  They don't have the tools and will start to lose their power as they push too hard.  Actually much of that dynamic is simply the person wanting to be acknowledged as Spirit, and if they are not getting that they will get more dramatic.  A simple spiritual hello can be empowering for them.  Remember, whatever you do with your energy will be modeled by those around you.  If you can stay neutral, validate Spirit and name clearly what is, this is empowering and people will start to match that and become more powerful too.

Our energy systems can be in a constant state of flux and can change in response to many outside factors.  For example, when you resist energy directed toward you from another source, a charge is set up that will essentially restrict your energy flow.  When you resist energy, there is a lack of flow, a frozen quality, a hard edge.  Whatever you are in resistance to is often attracted into your personal space and will likely get stuck there.  A simple way to shift your energy out of resistance is through neutrality/non-resistance.  Imagine your body having the clarity of glass, and like sunlight streaming through a window, whatever energy is not your own will simply keep flowing through and right out of your space.  It is as simple as that.  This is one way to cultivate more neutrality.

You create your own reality.  You create seeing or experiencing different situations in order to learn.  If your creation involves another person, then that other person created the situation with you.  They need it to learn their next piece as well.  Each side has created the other side to learn from.  As you get your next piece of information, it supports you moving along your path more efficiently.

When you are sitting "in judgment" about something, it means you are not getting the learning.  Judgment keeps you stuck.  It is about defending your issues because you are afraid to face them.  When you are in non-judgment/neutrality, you can get the learning, and move forward.

Manifestation, which our bodies are part of, is made up of opposite poles.  Life moves between these poles: pain/pleasure, good/bad, male/female.  The nature of manifest reality is to constantly be flowing between the two sides and it is possible to do this with full neutrality.  Spiritually there is no good or bad, or right or wrong, there are just opportunities to learn, not to judge, in order to become brighter and more free.  If you do not get the learning, you are bound to keep repeating the lesson until you truly get it.  It is important to be aware of the games you are playing, and why you are playing them.  Always ask yourself: "What is the learning?"  Get the learning and move on!

There is a very thin line between judgment and non-judgment.  Are you judging a person, or are you stating what is?  The difference is found in considering whether there is any judgment in it for you.  How are you perceiving the situation?  If your perception is, good or bad, should or shouldn’t and so on, this means you are not neutral and there is charge on the situation for you.

Here is an example of neutrality: a youth is being irresponsible and breaking into cars, you sit him or her down and say, "I'm sure what you are doing is very exciting but you're breaking one of the contracts of this culture.  If you continue on this path, you probably will get in trouble with the law.  Is that the path you want to walk?  It's OK if it is, just be aware of the choice you are making right now and make sure it is what you want.”  You can name what could happen and propose choices, rather than label the youth or the action as bad or wrong.  "This is the path you are on.  Every path leads somewhere.  Look at where this one leads.  Is that what you want?"  This is very different from saying, "What you're doing is wrong."  You are not saying the youth should not do something, you are describing a path.  You are presenting the options rather than saying that one is better or worse than the other.  That is true non-judgment, true neutrality.

Becoming aware of when you are in judgment provides you great insight into your own issues.  When you judge another person or their actions, there is most certainly something about the situation that is relevant in your own past experience.  All judgments are based on wounds.  You need to look at why you have the judgment there and turn it around and look at yourself.  If you didn't have an issue, a wound related to the situation, you would not judge it.  That's the way it works.  Use the judgment to find out more about yourself.  Use the judgment to heal yourself.  It is an amazing tool.  Do not judge yourself for judging, but always use the process.

You can also use a situation in which you are being judged as a way of growing spiritually.  Judgment is invalidation, and it is an opportunity to practice non-resistance; to just let it pass through you,"body of glass".  Do not take it on and let it get stuck in your space.  Do not give away your power.  If everybody in the world worked from a place of non-judgment, we would be living in a state much closer to bliss.

Judgment is not a spiritual principle.  It is a body dynamic.  If we lose our connection with our higher self, Source, then the body will start to go off on its own.  One of the interesting things about manifestation is that bodies and analyzers can go off on their own tangents where they can create mass levels of judgment.  They can even justify whatever they do in the name of God or Source.

Holy wars are going on all the time all over the planet.  They are based in competition and judgment, and have nothing to do with Source.  The holy wars are about body wounds and power over others.  As soon as you touch into a place of Spirit, of Source, you feel love for all sentient beings.  All you want to do is heal and love.  The idea that killing people can be involved as a way of being with Spirit, with Source, is ludicrous.  It is simply judgment and all judgment is based on wounds.  Remember making a choice neutrally is not a judgment, if it has no charge for you, it is most likely clean and therefore a choice - not a judgment.

The act of establishing power over others, as opposed to personal spiritual power, is a prevalent one in our world.  It involves beings who are trying to find their power, but they do not know where to look, and so they push for power over others.  They are trying to find what is missing and they will fill the "hole" with anything; with power over others, material objects, a new lifestyle, something to make them feel complete.  What is missing, of course, is their spirituality, their connection to Source, and there will never be enough accumulated wealth to fill that hole.  The only way you can fill it, ultimately, is spiritually.  There are holy men in India who have no material wealth and walk around like kings.  They have no physical wealth, but they have such a high level of spiritual wealth that material possessions do not matter.  It just fades away because spiritual wealth, spiritual wholeness, is the most complete, fulfilling thing there is.  It is that connection with Source and that wholeness spiritually that every being on this planet is looking for, consciously or unconsciously, and transcending judgment is an important part of the process of finding those missing pieces.
