Lightwork Spiritual Development
Lightwork is in full swing now as the new year of major programs started May 1st. The classes feel great and healing is happening for all. The three Apprentices. Debbie Longely, Keith Grennan, and Julia Watson are getting into the pace and groove of their new commitment and schedule. Lightwork has a deep commitment to holding a consistent spiritual practice with the intent to have this path rich and alive, for not only this lifetime but for future generations. Every year this dedication becomes more powerful and brighter.
Lightwork Productions, the creative wing of Lightwork has been busy this Spring. The Lightwork Band has moved sound equipment over to the Ecovillage to rehearse in Hawk House (the new name for the cabin!). It feels great to make music in nature. The music video for What Could Be is nearing completion and will be released soon. We are video taping Scott teaching level 1 so that students from around the globe can download level 1 and have a visual component to an online class. In short all projects are cruising along nicely.
There is lots of activity at the Ecovillage these days. Bulbs are blooming and the birds are back serenading us with their sweet songs. There have been several donations made to the Ecovillage this month helping us to upgrade the kitchen and create improved facilities for Lightwork Ecovillage participants. Thank you for the continued support, keep it coming! The floor of the new deck extension is complete and the roof will be next. Cobbing will begin again this weekend. With the new change in the Lightwork class schedule it is now possible for the Ecovillagers, work party participants, friends and guests to spend the entire weekend on the sacred land. Yipee! We are keeping our eye on the Summer Retreat start date... we will be ready.

With Love and Awareness comes Freedom

Love ultimately is the energy that holds the universe together. Love and Source energy are essentially the same thing. When I say love I do not mean the Hollywood emotion of love, I mean real love which is incredibly powerful and freeing, without attachment or limitation. Awareness is the ability to see what is, to be conscious. Consciousness extends through the manifest universe and the un-manifest universe. The more you can see what is happening on an energy level the more choice you have and the more power you have to create from a place of freedom. If you look at someone who is stuck, the only reason they are stuck is they don't have a clear awareness of how to get out. Often they are not even aware they are stuck. If you are in a cage and you are unaware the cage exists, how would you ever get out? With awareness you can see the cage, you can see the limitation and the exit point. Without the awareness that you have a choice, massive limitation will be your reality. Truly being in a place where you are consciously choosing your reality requires you to be able to see the choices, requires you to be aware, and with awareness comes ultimate freedom.
