Lightwork Spiritual Development

As the Lightwork staff does the energy setting for Lightwork Spiritual Development we are always amazed at the incredible abundance of this spiritual path.  It is truly an honour to do this work.  The energy setting that we have been doing over the past 4 weeks has been marked by huge shifts in havingness and abundance.  Everything is created on an energy level first and then manifest.  We are definitely in the flow.

As the Summer Retreat draws closer our excitement grows.  We are looking forward to some lovely communion with the mountains.  The past few weeks we have been working on finding an exciting location for the Winter Retreat.  Stay tuned!...

Apprentice Corner

 Reflections of Julia Watson

In early May we three apprentices got together for a dinner out.  It was a celebration of the completion of year one of the three year apprenticeship.  A time for retrospection and to offer support to each other on our ongoing journey.  The general consensus was that year one was ‘intense’!  The requirement to remain conscious for long periods of time was, at first, very challenging.  A year later there is a lot more ease with it.  Things that seemed so hard at the beginning now feel normal and have a natural flow.  I remember being very stressed about how I was going to find time to eat dinner each night as I came to Lightwork directly from work.  I have found a rhythm and an ease to it now.  It just requires planning and presence.  I also remember being worried in the fall about the length of the spring term.  Mid Jan to mid July with no break in our full schedule – how would I survive I wondered?  Now there are 5 more weeks until summer break and I don’t feel the need for a break at all!  I’m running my energy at a higher frequency than ever and my endurance is increasing as a result.  I probably shouldn’t be amazed…but I am!

Lightwork Productions

The Production wing of Lightwork has been upgrading the website this month.  One of the exciting new additions is the "Add Comments Feature" on blogs, articles and newsletters – like this one!  Lightwork Productions is evolving the website to be more interactive (more web 2.0-ish!).  Work continues on a new book, a new music album, shooting video and editing.

Working on creative projects for Lightwork Productions is different than most creative outlets in the mainstream.   Priority number one is taking care of your personal energy while working.  So, even though we may go through “crunch” times, Lightwork always encourages a spirit first energy set, whether that means stopping to meditate for a few minutes or doing energy work with the project before doing the manifest work.  Yes to spiritual consciousness in body.

Lightwork Ecovillage

There will be stewards at the ecovillage continuously from Aug 4-24 this summer so if anyone would like to come out for more than a weekend let us know.  Most weekends in July too - except for during the retreat.

Our current engineering challenge is to make parts of the steep new driveway drivable even in wet conditions.  Our goal is to find a solution that is low cost, low impact, and relatively swift to create.  So Scott sharpened his pencil, opened his trusty black sketch book and came up with an idea that fits the order!   We start with bare earth, lay out small rocks in a 2’ diameter oval ensuring that none of the rocks touch each other.  Then pour cement over them creating a thick stable concrete pad.  We then make several horizontal ruts across the pads to create traction for the vehicles’ tires.  We lay rocks in the half foot gap between the cement pads.  On the opposite track we’ll lay the cement pads parallel to the gap making a checkerboard of concrete pads all the way up.  This will ensure that two wheels of the vehicle are always on concrete while still conserving the amount of concrete we need to use.  It looks really great and once we lay the second track we’ll give it a whirl!  As Scott makes sure everybody knows, "This is experimental."

  Kiss Freedom

Rushing heat bright and grounded
Soothing all of us
Close close yet expansive beyond beyond

Awash in the warm loving ocean
A darkness to slay
We are of the one who creates the skies
Then soars in them

We are of the one who creates the seas
Then plunges into them

We are pure power pure light
with an unlimited nature

Time to grasp the golden sword of awareness
Send the limiter back to the depths

and kiss freedom on the lips

Source energy is everything everywhere, at different vibrations.

- An article by Scott Robinson

There is only one energy in the universe.  Everything that is, is that energy.  What makes a tree different from a human being is the vibration of that energy.  That energy is Source energy.  All there is, is Source.  There are unlimited frequencies Source energy can vibrate at.  When the vibration changes, it changes what is created.  Even within your own body you have an extremely high number of vibrations happening.  Your heart vibrates at a different frequency than your lungs but it is all Source.  All non-manifest energies are vibrations as well.  Sunlight vibrates at a different frequency than a person’s electromagnetic field around their body.  Earth energy vibrates at a different frequency than cosmic enegy.  Emotions are energy vibrations as well.  The emotion of amusement is a higher vibration than the emotion of apathy.

Pristine Source energy is energy coming from Source that hasn't been assigned a particular vibration yet.  It can be used to create anything or to heal anything, it is the raw stuff of the universe.  At a certain point on the healing journey one truly accesses this pristine Source energy and can change its vibration into anything that is needed.  All energy will ultimately go back to Source.  It is the universal recycling system because all there ever was, is, or will be is Source energy at different vibrations.
