Lightwork Spiritual Development
The Lightwork Summer Break: July 18 - Sept. 1.
The summer and winter breaks provide an awesome opportunity to take your daily personal meditation space deeper. There is also lots of opportunity to touch in with fellow Lightworkers this summer: the Picnic, July 11, of course the Summer Retreat, July 20 - 25 and there will be advanced Lightworkers at the Lightwork Ecovillage from Aug. 4 - 31. A loving, rich, spiritual community is important for all those on the conscious spiritual path. So let us know when we will see you!
The fall term commences on Tuesday Sept. 2 with Healing Space at 5:30 pm and the Next Step class at 7:30 pm.
The Healing Space will run throughout the summer break (YEAH!) with the exception of the week the Lightwork Summer Retreat is being held, July 20 - 25, so there will not be a Healing Space on July 22. We encourage you to come and give/receive a healing.

Reflections of Debbie Longley
All is well and moving along. Feeling the joy of new levels of awareness and physical energy and much sadness and anger releasing as well. I've been healing some big pieces that I've kinda avoided looking at for a long time (not entirely, but looking at them wasn't on the top of my fun things to do list)! Scott advised that I spend half of my personal meditation time on those pieces. So I have been. It's very freeing. Even though that old energy still comes in some of the time, usually "knocking me unconscious" (losing meditation focus) during a meditation, or making life feel very hard, the amount and the duration gets less and less. And my awareness of the dynamics is growing. Love the issue, as they say! So, yes to the work, yes to the imperfect journey!
Lightwork Productions
The Production wing of Lightwork continues to be very active. The Lightwork Band is in the process of recording and mixing their much anticipated 3rd album entitled Sacred Love Pop! It is an awesome creative adventure. Scott continues to do post production on the album, adding magic (Timberland look out!) to the Lightwork Band songs including the much loved clapping sound effect and inspiring samples. A new website is under construction which features online pre-recorded video meditation classes. The video meditation classes are currently being shot and edited as well. A new meditation book is also in production and is feeling great.

Lightwork Ecovillage
The ecovillage is resplendent in foxgloves right now. The road up to the sanctuary site is awash with them. A field of purple punctuated with the occasional rare white foxglove.
We’ve put flower pots on the deck and planted beans in the garden. The raspberry canes look promising and Stella, the cherry tree, has yellow cherries that are on their way to turning red! We’ve put cardboard mulch down on the potato patch to keep nature from reclaiming the cleared area. We’d like to put a moveable fence around it that we could expand as we clear more garden space. The deer have been most pleased with the sunflowers we’ve planted. Without a fence only the most hardy deer proof plants can survive their nibbles.
We’ve been making good progress on the new driveway. The top of the connector road now has two tracks of concrete pads studded with stones to increase traction on the steepest section.

What is Energy?

Everything in the universe is made up of energy: trees, rocks, buildings, you the spiritual being, and the body you currently reside in. Everything starts on an energy level first, then becomes manifest. There is, of course, a difference between animate and inanimate objects. You and the chair you are sitting in are both made up of energy, but you are a conscious, eternal, spiritual being with your own energy system, the chair is energy vibrating at a single frequency without true consciousness. In Western culture, we have largely lost our ability to be aware of energy. Times are changing, however, and there is a move toward getting back in touch with our energy and our abilities, to get back to the way humans were originally designed. It is natural to feel energy, to see energy, and to be aware of it on all levels. Everyone is aware of energy on some level. The spiritual journey is to bring it back into consciousness.
