Lightwork Spiritual Development

By Julia Watson

Lightwork is in the media this month.  Pick up October's Shared Vision magazine and check out the article Free Your Energy on page 24 or click here to read the article online.

For the last two years Scott has offered an optional ‘Specialty Class’ for the senior students.  Last year’s Sex Class was a big hit (as you can imagine).  Though contrary to wild imaginations, the class was conducted seated in chairs in meditation.   This year’s class is on Astral Travel.  Our bodies once again are seated on chairs but the astral planes are opening up to us in a whole new way.  This work is so on the cutting edge of consciousness that most of us are in hefty growth periods (a growth period is a time of rapid spiritual and physical change) - trying to come to terms with, and embody the avalanche of new information.  We get up to all sorts of activities on the astral.  When we become conscious of those activities we can take our healing even deeper.

Reflections of Debbie Longley

Life is good.  Well, really it just is what it is, but it feels good!  I'm currently in a big growth period, and that feels fine (a growth period is a time of rapid spiritual and physical change).  The symptoms are mostly just feeling tired.  The other day I laughed to myself and thought, how exciting, I'm in a big growth period!  There was no sarcasm in that thought.  I wonder what will be on the other side, thought I?  Or, more truly, what I'll be like on the other side of this.  It's pretty exciting when life is so unlimited, and just keeps getting lighter and brighter, more full of love and light.  When the next big change in my reality no longer feels scary, but exciting.  I've broken through some big walls in the last six months, and I have a whole new perspective on life.  Yes to evolution.

Lightwork Productions

By Julia Thiessen

Lightwork productions, the creative wing of Lightwork, is dedicated to working on creative projects as a vehicle for personal spiritual development and facilitating others with their spiritual evolution as well.  Currently in Lightwork Productions, drafts of the next Lightwork book are in the early stages.  The Lightwork Band is reworking their music to incorporate sing-alongs.  The process is very fun, as the band members Scott, Krista and Julia T collaborate with the universe to come up with some deeply satisfying songs.  Overall there is a lot of flow in Lightwork Productions with the book and preparations for the Winter Sacred Space Celebration, Dec. 12 .

Lightwork Ecovillage

By Julia Thiessen

The Ecovillage is starting to put on it's Fall colour show.  Work has been done to prepare for the Winter; wood has been chopped for the stove, fall rye sown, the deck re-stained, tarps set in place for the rains.  All around the non-human ecovillage inhabitants prepare as well, birds coming and going in migration, mushrooms popping up, and squirrels busying themselves with winter food stockpiles.

The Ecovillage work parties have been lively as work continues to be done on the roof structure for the cob building, using timber from the land.  It is hugely satisfying working with the wood.  Each piece has its own personality.  Some are gnarly, some are strangely heavy, and others are perfumed.  All of them are an example of generosity, giving, and support, which can be sensed as the wood is found, hauled, striped of bark, and set into place where it will stay for years to come.  Lightwork ecovillagers are starting to get flashes of how the cob building will feel once it’s complete.  Very sweet.  The process of working on it is very sweet too.

The Internal Sun

By Scott Robinson

Thunder in a distant land
Mountains untouched by the hand of man
Birds sing an enlightened, higher song
The day is moist, fresh and long

Turning inside I must do
Turning outside seeing what is true
This afternoon time begins again
But now I sit and feel the rain

At home I left the light ones
Home where the lightness runs
But as I sit in this far away place
I can still feel their power and grace

Energy from my far away home
With a flash lightning seeds are sown
Yes I feel the life force run
Yes I feel the internal sun

Amusement

By Scott Robinson

Amusement is an especially powerful healing form of spiritual energy. In fact, most healing takes place at an energy level of amusement or above.  As you turn inward, you can touch into your amusement, that internal giggle. It may not be that outside body laugh of "ha, ha" but rather an inside state of lightness, a bubbling up flow, a high vibration which can be called the energy state of amusement.  Amusement is powerful because it is such a high vibration.  It can cut through all kinds of low vibration fog, low vibration energy.  Low vibration energies cannot be in the same space as the high vibration of amusement.  The energy of amusement simply pushes out the low vibration energies creating a clean high vibration energy-set that supports awareness and freedom.  That is why as Spiritual Warriors we have the intention to always remember to apply the tool of amusement, to switch it on, even when nothing around us is funny.
