Lightwork is back in full-speed-ahead mode after our break and Winter Retreat. The Lightwork Winter Retreat at the Pocket Sanctuary in Southern Arizona was rich and deep. The staff at the Pocket Sanctuary were great and the surrounding lands allowed us to explore a completely different ecosystem. Quite different from our beloved Pacific North West. 75% of the participants either carpooled or took rail which is in alignment with Lightwork's environmental commitments.
It is great to be back in regular class sessions doing the spiritual work that we all love so deeply. The healings and the evolution continue in abundance. It is a wonderful life!

My apprenticeship process lately has been one of many small steps. I am finding a pace that works for me, where I am not overextending myself. This looks and feels different from my past way of being, which was frequently in an overwhelmed state. Also I have been making my meditations more relaxing, really emphasizing to my body that the meditation is a gift, and to use it to let go of all the distractions. I've been breathing more deeply and letting things go more quickly. Feels good!
Lightwork Productions- the creative wing of Lightwork- has many projects on the go. The video editing department for Lightwork Productions has doubled this month- now there are two people working on editing videos for various Lightwork projects. Editing is in progress, for the second edition of The Journey Is The Goal and a brand new Lightwork book. The ability to be diligent and focused with the task of editing is a direct reflection of the diligence and focus which is cultivated by meditating. Lightwork Productions focuses on creativity as an expression of spirit, finding the gift within the task- whether it’s staying present while doing behind the scenes data entry for a blog, or the intention of sending love into the world with a video posted online.

Every year there is a month in the winter when we are unable to spend time at the ecovillage. When we arrive back in mid January our excitement at being home is always mixed in with a bit of trepidation as to what we will find. How has Mother Nature decided to leave her mark? This year we found that there wasn’t as much damage as in the past. A recycled windshield cracked, a tarp was blown off leaving parts of the cob house exposed, and a few roof tiles were torn off Hawk House. These things are all rather minor in the scheme of things, we quickly got back to work recovering the cob house and retiling the roof. Repairs are just part of living so close to nature.

I hear you call from the forest of betrayed dreams
Where are our flowers passed down from gods to men?
Our garden wilts from those who lost themselves
They buy and sell the myth, they buy and sell themselves
My truth hounds me and will not let me turn away
It hounds me and will not let me walk astray
I must be, to feel the light's pleasure
It drives me with a force you could not measure
Today I saw the ripples of time
Today I felt this life of mine
To touch, to see, to feel, and to be
All of this inside of me
Free flying, in the truth of the night
Free dying, and trusting the light
Free seeing, past the facade
Free being, the internal god
I was walking down by the ocean and I kept seeing flashes in front of
me. They were timeline flashes. I found that I was looking at my
body, and this lifetime, from a higher and broader view - a more
all-encompassing bigger space. I saw where I was on my spiritual
journey. I saw where I had been, and I saw where I was going. I saw
a timeline crystal clear that showed when people were coming into my
life and giving me the opportunities to grow and learn spiritually, and
when they were leaving my life. I saw my teacher being profoundly in
my life, and then, when he was no longer going to be there. It was all
laid out in a clear order.
I realized this was a future, and although I could choose other ways of
going, this one felt like the path. It felt like it was the future
that was most in alignment with my healing and evolution toward freedom
and Source. It felt incredibly comfortable, soothing. There was no
fear. I was living in the bigger space, I was existing in that larger
domain.
Shortly after, I was talking to my spiritual teacher and I described
the feeling and images and the awareness I had. He looked me right in
the eyes and was silent for a moment and then said, "You have reached a
place that very few around here have." He asked me to follow him. We
went and sat down in a private area, and he said, "There's something
that I would like you to experience." We both closed our eyes, and I
watched him move into his astral body and immediately leave the room.
He then asked me to follow him.
We went out onto the astral plane, and I followed as he moved through
different dimensions. I realized the dimension he wanted to play in
was this one, the manifest reality. I followed him, and he was going
closer and closer to a mountain range. It was down in the United
States. He went forward and stopped at a mountain peak. He
communicated to me that this was a place where he liked to “hang out"
on a spiritual level, in his astral body. We just stopped there and
sat in this beautiful, simple energy.
We were alone there for most of the time. Occasionally, other beings
would come by and then leave. These were beings of light who were
running an extremely soft, particularly bright healing energy. I
stayed there on the mountaintop with my teacher for quite some time.
Time ceased to exist for however long we were there.
I realized that I could, with permission, if I ever needed to on my
spiritual journey, meet him there on the astral level in both of our
astral bodies, and be reassured and replenished on a spiritual level.
I have not yet gone back, but I always know this place is there.
Later, I followed him back to our physical bodies. We both came back
into the center of the head of the physical body, and opened our eyes.
We said very few words through the whole experience. Shortly after, I
left feeling like I had taken my next step.
