Behind the Scenes at Lightwork:
On Tuesdays at Lightwork Krista and one apprentice does energy setting for Lightwork as a whole, for every class series, and for every single student.We move out any energy that is trying to limit the classes, projects or individuals involved.We look at the energy system of every student enrolled in a class series and give each person a distance healing.If someone is being challenged they are given a bit more of a hand than someone who is looking bright and clear.Scott joins the energy setting team at the end to look more deeply at any areas of concern or simply to redirect the ‘ship' energetically.The energy setting isn't discussed much but it is one of the most important things that happen at Lightwork.After all, everything starts as energy first and becomes manifest second.
Class Spotlight:The Next Step Program
When a student enrolls for the Next Step Program rather than buying a plan card or paying the drop in fee, they are considered an integral part of the Lightwork Community. They receive the immense support of receiving a distance healing during energy setting every Tuesday.The Next Step Program includes every Next Step class for a year and one private session a month (except during breaks) with either Scott or Krista.At these private sessions, students are given an area to focus on which is individualized for each person. The Next Step Program is designed to support anyone who wants to have Lightwork as their on-going spiritual practice.
As Lightwork Spiritual Development continues to flow and grow we have realized that we need to offer 2 classes at the same time on some nights in order to fit in all the classes that are offered.Now the room off of the kitchen can be converted into a second classroom in a manner of minutes!A curtain provides privacy and a mobile heater some body comfort.
Julia Watson, having reached the next level of her spiritual development, will be teaching Level 1 at the Lightwork Centre on Thursday nights starting Apr 30.Krista is currently not teaching Level 1 as she is spending more time developing the Lightwork Ecovillage.

There has certainly been a big growth period going on for me lately, and a visible one! Any of you who know me have most likely noticed my absences and the illness which have been the physical manifestations of this growth period. I'm starting to recover physically now, still not sure what all the manifestations of coming out of this growth period will be. I've been letting go of victim energy and coming to a new place with owning my reality. I've also been letting go of "worthless" programming, and realizing my worth doesn't come from having a healthy body, or anything else really. I am worthy just because I am. As we all are. Another big part of this growth period has been acceptance. Simply accepting where I'm at - less than perfect, but perfectly valid! Trusting in the universe, and doing what I need to do. I've also been letting go of old dark energy in my space. I believe there is still a lot more that will come to me from this growth period - I haven't seen it all yet. Look out for the ever evolving me!
Lightwork Productions- the creative wing of Lightwork- is continuing to work on creative projects melding spirit and creativity.
Scott has been working closely with Jeanine to develop a new Lightwork Life video series. Jeanine has been shooting interviews at the ecovillage to show some different aspects of Lightwork life.
Keith and Julia T continue to work on a website which will offer beginner meditation classes online. Keith’s computer programming skills, and Julia’s video editing are coming together to create this awesome website.
On Tuesdays some members of the production crew can be found at the Lightwork Centre on computers, diligently working on upcoming projects designed to bring more light onto the planet.

We’ve been organizational mavens at the ecovillage lately! There has been a frenzy of cleaning, sorting and reorganizing. It has left Hawk House looking and feeling really wonderful. We are always looking to strike a balance between saving things that may be useful one day and clearing stuff out to make space for current projects. Current economics serve as a reminder to be thrifty and to reuse resources. We are honing our organizational skills to keep everything dry and orderly.
A lot of progress has been made on putting up the frame for the cob building roof. Some of the posts for the second floor have been erected which really helps to visualize what it will look like when it is complete. Part of the second floor will be a sleeping and storage loft. The aim is to have the roof up before the summer retreat. We are making good progress so far!

Part of the process of clearing and healing yourself is "completing the circles". When past relationships or situations are unfinished, a part of your energy will still be engaged in that dynamic and held there as if frozen. The circle needs to be completed in order for you to be more free.
It is important to be honest, and look at past dynamics in order to identify incomplete circles. You must have a clear sense of what needs to happen to complete a circle so you can continue to move forward. You do not have to be out of the relationship to complete a circle. You can still be involved, but you will be free of any pieces that are hanging on. When cleaning up a past or present relationship by completing the circle/unfinished business, the frozen energy is released, which is a healing for everybody involved.
