The air is smelling sweet these days as the next cycle of nature reminds us that change can be healing. At Lightwork we welcome the inner shifts that support growth and freedom.
After a short break starting April 2, classes resume on April 12, signaling the beginning of a new cycle of the major programs. Throughout this time, Healing Space will be offered on Tuesday evenings, lending continued support with community. Feel free to share in the potluck during Healing Space if you like. Remember, the break from classes is a time to take your personal practice deeper and to continue taking steps along your spiritual journey.

As I move from Year 1 of the Apprenticeship Program into Year 2, I notice I feel different from when I began. Right now I am working on having more EASE in my life. I have learned that worrying, trying hard and being serious will not help me. Taking this learning deeper is a journey, and more and more I am experiencing that it is within ease that my power lies. When I feel the seriousness want to get in, the worries, I tune to the state of ease. And a dash of amusement helps too. E-Z does it.
Lightwork Productions is the creative wing of Lightwork. The intent of Lightwork Productions is to generate creative and often beautiful vehicles to portray and support people on their spiritual journey. It is one thing to talk about spirituality - and that is very important - we also try to create other ways of accessing the light and wonder of the journey. For example each monthly newsletter Scott will write a poem and put together a short photo series as a way of expressing the varied terrain of a spiritual path.

Our main focus this month has been threefold. Finish the support posts under the Hawk House, get the garden ready for planting, and sand and stain all exposed wood at the cob house. We are making excellent headway in all areas.
The Hawk House support posts are all in place, sanded, and stained. A new south wall with a window has been installed and a door hung. This will help keep our tools and supplies protected from weather.
The garden beds are put in, amendments added, and some early seeds planted. We are taking a long view in our garden plan and putting in asparagus this spring so that we can enjoy it’s bounty in a few years. We are doing soil tests to determine pH and nutrient levels so we know what amendments are needed to produce the happiest vegetables.
Upcoming work party dates:

Your aura or personal space is an electromagnetic energy field surrounding your physical body. It is a vital part of the energy system that holds your physical body together and keeps it alive and healthy in the manifest realm. When you are aware of your aura and taking responsibility for owning it, you have the ability to be more aware of what is going on for you on a deeper level. You have the ability to have more flow and ease in your life. As a spiritual being, you can choose to have your aura any size or shape. When it is healthy and well maintained it flows from an arm's length above your head, to an arm's length beneath your feet. It flows an arm's length out in front and behind and on both sides. It looks like a golden egg-shaped bubble surrounding the physical body.
Choosing to pull your aura in closer than an arm's length, or extending it beyond an arm's length, is choosing to diminish your own power. You may, for example, have a habit of pulling your aura in tight around your physical body. Perhaps you do this when you are in a crowded room, or when you are scared or threatened. In doing this you have given away a large amount of your power and awareness.
Another dynamic is to have your aura extended far out and away from your body. An extreme case of this is someone who holds their aura out so far that there is no definition to their aura at all. It is very difficult to own your personal space in this case. It is easy for other people's energy to get into your space and this causes an inability to manage your energy system effectively.
The state of your aura is your choice. You can tune in, become aware of, and adjust your aura at any time. You may notice areas in your aura that may not be moving or flowing, places where a foreign energy is blocking the flow of the energy in the aura. Simply through intention, you can release the blockage and fill in those places with your energy. Energy follows intent. If you are interested in creating wholeness in your life, a fundamental step is to start looking after your aura consciously. Play with owning it at a manageable level, as described above, with clear boundaries and definition. This is part of the step-by-step process of raising your awareness and responsibility for self.
